We are used to complicated stories with families looking forward to spend a week together in the chateau as they are spread all over the world but in Nasim’s case, the situation was even more complex than usual. Imagine a bride living in California with her family mostly residing in Boston and Teheran then an Ivorian groom with family in Africa and in Paris then add friends and relatives flying from all over the world + a team of photographers and videographers coming from Brazil… you shall start to see that the logistics were not the easiest part of the wedding planning. Especially when the bride is requesting to hang hundreds of paper lanterns in 5 sizes and 3 colors (turquoise, silver grey and white) “in a random but no so random order” (this was not expressed as clearly but fortunately she liked the result).
In the end, everyone arrived safely and they spent a great week drinking, eating and partying.
The Michelin star chefs kookin provided a custom menu based on delicious French specialities (including fish in a tin !) and Muriel (cakesinthecity) brilliantly managed the (home-made) crepe and ice cream station during the whole evening.
