The Chateau de Varennes is belonging for 500 years to the “Truchis de Varennes “family. It used to be a holiday home for our family who was at that time living between Paris and South of France.
After a complete remodeling that lasted a few years, we have transformed it into a luxury holiday resort/wedding venue and we are now very happy to open our doors to other families who can create fantastic memories and also become part of the Chateau’s rich history.
Aymeric is in charge of the logistics and finances while Sonia is the Marketing Director in charge of the Communication, PR, Venue coordination and customer relationship management (Sonia was born in Korea but adopted by a French family at a young age). We have two kids (a son named Maxence and a girl named Sybille) and they are the 15th generation of Truchis de Varennes!
We have both lived overseas for several years (mainly London and Singapore) therefore we speak English fluently as well as most of our staff. This will allow you save a lot of time when sending an enquiry because other French owners and vendors usually speak very little English. We are working with a nice team of internal staff and external vendors. We can recommend several talented event planners for events such as weddings.
